[OpenMap Users] discoloration around edges of basicMapPanel

I added a BasicMapPanel to my application and I get a discoloration around
the edges.

How do I get rid of it?

I put a border around it (black line) but it still gets shrunk into the
visible region of the panel?

Have you (or anyone else) noticed this before?
