[OpenMap Users] setting center point programatically

Hello,

        my users are using the Rosetta to recenter their map location.
however they want to be able to set that to whatever point they want
without quiting the application and setting the property file. is there a
way i can set the recenter point of the Rosetta recenter button
programmatically?
