Hello list,

I have a rather theoretical question regarding GIS research. We all know
that GIS are natuarlly able to visualise almost all kinds of data that is
geo-referenced. However, time or more generally temporal aspects are also
possible to visualise with GIS. Now some questions:

1) Does somebody know books/papers that in particula emphasises this ability
of GIS to integrate and visualise temporal information with maps?

2) Who knows projects and scientific publications that show systems that do
work in this area of visualising geographcal information with time aspects
with different forms of navigation, new ininovative user interfaces, new
ideas and approaches? Does somebody know a good website that shows
a good application combining of geoinformation and time information?

Kind Regards,
Karl
