RE: [OpenMap Users] Starting OpenMap

Don:

WRT to panning capability & configuring openmap.prperties, What am I looking
for, and where might it go? Will some Icon be displayed in the GUI?

Also, WRT to the two types of DTED "managers", one using the dtedframecache,
and the other not...I notice that the layer using the dtedframecache doesn't
have the same degree of control over the display of the DTED data as the
older dted layer does (at least not out of the "OpenMap" box). Will you be
putting in the other controls such as the elevation Band spacing slider, and
the ability to select the spacing to be meters or feet, or are tey already
there, and just need to be configured in the openmap.properties file?

Hi John,

There is one in the beta, you need to add it to the
openmap.properties file as an openmap.component.

You might want to update the cvs tree for that, I just checked in
some improvements to the mode yesterday.
