Hi John,
The new DTED mechanism will support the elevation bands. The code
for display the elevation bands is in the
com.bbn.openmap.omGraphics.grid package, but it does need a loader
written for it. I think I also wanted to change the hierarchy for it
a little so you could specify the Length units to use for the bands,
not just create similar classes for different units, and got
distracted. It'll get straighted out for the release.
The advantage to the new mechanism is that the controls being
displayed will apply to the settings of the layer. In the old
mechanism, the band slider was always displayed, even though it never
did anything for slope shading settings.
