Hi Raghu,
We use netbeans 5.0 on our project. There are 2 ways to set up
OpenMap. The easy way is to go to "New Project" and select General
category and Projects: "Java Project with Existing Ant Script". Click
"Next", then navigate to the OpenMap folder and select it. Once the
project is created, select the "Files" tab in the Navigator window, then
right click the build.xml file and select "Run Target" and select "all".
This cleans and builds all the jar files.
The second way is to create a "New Project" and select "New Project
With Existing Sources" which takes more effort to create but provides
the full power of Netbeans to be employed. You will need to add the
source folders in the wizard.
If you want to only build and view the source, then the first
method is fine. If you want to modify the source and debug, the second
method is better. Although we don't use the CVS capabilities within
Netbeans, you can utilize this functionality as well.
