We are using com.bbn.openmap.layer.BufferedLayer to combine two shape
files into one layer. Both files consist of polygons. We're noticing,
that as we zoom out, the redraw isn't quite working correctly. Zooming
out one time causes the new polygons to get redrawn smaller as you would
expect, but the polygons the previous polygons that were on the screen
don't get cleared. In other words, if you are looking at the United
States and zoom out, you see two copies of the United States. One is
smaller and inside the other. Is this a bug or are we doing something
wrong? Thanks.

Jay
