In our project for Armed Forces the COP (Common Operational Picture) was
created based on my SVG server
which unit symbols rendered based on SVG files. The area symbols were
generated separately due to specific points and data
based on differen mechanzims using serialization of OM primitives such
as OMCircle OMLine OMSpline. This is as I think the only way to do so
the SVG files rendered to GIF and placed on the map do not allow fulll
features of such APP6A (STD 2525) symbols
