Hi Neil,

You can call doPrepare() on an OMGraphicHandlerLayer to get a thread
created that calls prepare() on the layer. You might need to do that
if you need to generate the OMGraphics on the layer, and you are
generating in the prepare() method. If the OMGraphics are ready to be
painted, however, you can simply call repaint() on your layer.
