[OpenMap Users] OpenMap display configuration

The home page for OpenMap shows a screenshot of OpenMap running on a
Mac where the layer panel is displayed beside the map panel in the
same frame. The default configuration brings up the layer panel in a
separate dialog. How can I configure OpenMap to display as in the
screenshot.
