Hi All,
I have been attempting to use PropertyHandler.createOpenMapProperties(...)
in order to persist user configurations. I've been mostly successful, but
have encountered a bizarre issue. After I write the properties file out and
reload with the new configuration, I am getting an extra
OverviewMapAreaLayer to show up in the AddLayersPanel named "Anonymous".
I've tracked it down in the original openmap.properties file, and it appears
that if I get rid of the OverviewMapHandler *component*, the problem goes
away. Of course, the button that brings up the overview display goes away
as well.
I have tried to subclass the OverviewMapHandler component, but creating the
map fails instantly with an exception about some resource not being found.
Searching through the archives, it appears that somebody else had a similar
issue, but they said that it occurred when they added a RouteLayer. The
thread is almost 6 years old, and I'm sure horribly out-of-date, but it's
all I could find.
Any ideas?
