I discovered a bug in the
com.bbn.openmap.layer.dted.DTEDFrameCache.getElevation(float lat, float lon)
method. The method iterates backwards on DTED levels to try to determine
the elevation at the point specified. However, the loop counts back from
1. So, if the user loads DTED level 2 data, OpenMap can't determine the
elevation.
In order to work around the problem, I had to subclass DTEDCacheManager,
DTEDCacheHandler, and DTEDFrameCache. Is there an easier way (through
properties or something)?
