To get openmap into my private maven repo and even more stuff have to be
done in order to get it into our company repo. If openmap is published
into a public maven repo it will be much more convenient to use openmap
with maven as it would save the effort of downloading and
building/managing the jar's etc. Also, pushing new snapshots (beta's)
via a public maven repo to the "masses" instead of having to go through
the svn update/build cycle would provide the means for more effective
beta testing I think.
