Hi,
I've recently downloaded OpenMap 5 Beta from SVN and gave it a try. To be able to compile my existing project I had to fix some minor issues mostly regarding the LatLonPoint usage, but it wasn't a big deal. When I ran my project I saw that the rendering performance of OM5 is significantly lower than OM 4.6.5, especially for ShapeLayers.
I am using BufferedLayerMapBean and adding a ShapeLayer to it as a background. I tried using MapBean instead. However there was no change in performance.
Am I missing something here?
