Sorry for the 3 year delay (!), but OM5 has been released as an
official version.

The CHANGELOG in the package lists the modifications for the new
release. It's also at http://openmap.bbn.com/CHANGELOG.

This release requires Java 5, and is not compatible with prior
releases of OpenMap. The major changes that cause incompatibilities
are to the LatLonPoint and to the Projection interface and classes.

    - LatLonPoint has been moved from com.bbn.openmap to
com.bbn.openmap.proj.coords, and now extends java.awt.Point2D.
    - Projections now use Point2D objects instead of Point and
LatLonPoint. The GeoProj subclass describes geocentric Projection
classes that use LatLonPoint.

As always, questions and comments are welcome.

Thanks for sticking with OpenMap through the years,

Don
