I am currently displaying CADRG maps in a JAVA application. I have the program configured such that the user can zoom with the mouse wheel. The ZoomEvent is set to "relative" with a zoom step size of 1 / 1.1f. The projection type of our MapBean is LLXY. I am also using the Overlay Map Panel to control panning and zooming.
When we zoom in, we increase the scale. The map enlarges and eventually changes the CADRG zoom level as it should. However, if we have a group of tiles all at the same zoom level, when we zoom in some of the tiles disappear. The tiles reappear when we zoom in one step more. We also have noticed that the tiles can also disappear depending on how the map is positioned on the screen.
For example if we have 3 tiles, two of them at the same longitude touching and one below touching. If we zoom in the lower tile disappears. If I pan up, the lower tile reappears, but sometimes one of the upper tiles disappears also.
I'm a bit curious if this is a known issue or if it's a mistake on my part. I can't seem to solve this issue. I am currently am using a RpfLayer to display our CADRG maps.
