[OpenMap Users] regarding ESRI Shape file

hello ,
 can anybody tell me how to catch mouse event on ESRI
shape file. i have added an ESRI shape file to map , i
would like to catch the mouse event on the shape and
like to get the metadata information . can anybody
help me out .
