RE: [OpenMap Users] MapBean drawing outside its container?

I am extending MapBean (com.bbn.openmap.MapBean) to a class we call
XMap. This was to isolate OpenMap and to allow others to use this XMap
anywhere in our framework.

I am adding a BufferedShapeLayer, and that is about it.

I am using custom methods in my extended class to supply my own pan and
zoom functions.

Someone took this XMap and put it in a JPanel and we are getting the
over draw you saw in the screen capture.

Alex,

Were you seeing the problem with a standard MapBean (if so, which
version and type)? If it was an extended MapBean, which class did
you extend off of and what did the extension look like? Were the
layers causing the problem backgrounded layers on a
BufferedLayerMapBean?

Chuck, how about you?
